School

So school has reopened yet again, after a not so relaxing holiday, but I survived! So all my holiday homework has been completed, except for bio portfolio (only 5/8 reflections so far). =) However, I have barely had a chance to rejoice in my success, when yet more school work is due and yet more tests have been set by our kind and caring teachers (ok, they are quite nice in actual fact but what we see here seems to point at the contrary).

On a side note, I have been going for third language lessons on wednesday at 3.30pm (after school ends) for the past two weeks as I cannot attend class on thursday due to NSC briefing. The class is taught by the same teacher (now a new teacher called Monsieur Chan), but it is mostly comprised of nanyang girls, except for another guy. Well, there is this striking thing that I observed about their class: although they are significantly bigger than our class, they dont really talk to each other. Of course, they do talk in pairs and threes but they just seem so indifferent to the existent of their other classmates, and also schoolmates. There is really no bond between the class, unlike us where everyone talks to each other, and the class is often bustling with energy. Their class is just so silent! Even when the teacher asks them a question, more often than not, no one answers.

Maybe I am just reading too much into it but it is really a little disturbing... At times like this, I must really say Im glad to belong to RI! =)
