National Science Challenge Finals!

Finally, the NSC has come to an end, and it could not have come at a better time, for I'm in the midst of desperate mugging for French EOYs and Orals. Wait, in that case how come I'm even here! But oh, nvm, this is more exciting. =)

Well, as I am rather busy, I shall keep it short and sweet.

1) We scored full marks for crossword round!
2) We got 9 for presentation round?! That's like lowest amongst the 3 teams! One of the judges felt that we did not have enough science in our presentation but still, the question was 'What is the future of solar energy in Singapore', and that doesn't really ask for much scientific depth, but I guess, it is still NSC, so ah well...
3) We finally got the judges' question right!
4) We didn't exactly own the buzzer round (as RI traditionally has), but it was good enough.

So we won with 34 points, followed closely by RGS with 27, and River Valley with 23.

Well done guys! To the rgs team: You really did a great job, although you didn't win. You really gave us a run for our money, and we hope to see you in competitions again next year =)

And guess what comes along with the NSC Champions tag? Its a brand new Sony Vaio! Ok well, it may not be a macbook, but its still something. =) So now I have to go about thinking of a use for it :P
