Busy

Sigh... I have been so busy, and didn't (and still dont) have alot of time to post, what with all the tests and homework. Had Learning Journey on Wednesday too, where we went to labrador battery and memories at ford factory. Wasnt a total waste of time, unlike what i had expected.

Now, I had Math TA, French Controle, and CL Compo (graded) on Thursday. So stressed, but its over. Math TA was quite easy, which I cannot comment on the other two until I get my results back.

Anyway, lets go to the wonderful subject of test results. Hmmm, what can I say, I got 26.5/30 for Bio practical, which isnt too bad, but then, I lost 4 marks at the random match probability question cause I didnt give detailed enough working... My answer was right! But still... Lost a few other marks (there are 35 marks in the paper, but its counted upon 30, i.e 5 'bonus' marks.

Chinese! What can I say, so far my Progress Report 1 chinese mark is really poor, 78.6 (or 78.4), mainly thanks to the previous compo, in which i got 50/70 and the class average was like 40 since the teacher was really strict. So now our new teacher is considering using the marks of our latest compo and hopefully I got higher in that compo...

PHYSICS!!! I utterly screwed up my practical. 10/15. Let us look at how I lost my marks. 1) wrote a(cm) instead of a/cm for table heading (teacher never told us not to); 2)misread take another 4 sets of readings as take 4 sets of readings; 3) forgot to write 2.0 instead of 2 etc; 4)did not use a mechanical pencil, so my graph plot line was judged to be thick (like omg? I didnt trace over it or anything); 5) the 'triangle' which i used to find the gradient was judged to have been too small.

J'ai horreur ca! It will kill my physics PR1... Maintenant, j'ai du chagrin. I vow to work harder to prevent such stupid errors from ever repeating again, and hopefully get above 90 overall. Luckily, they take the top 2 of 3 practicals, so I have a chance.

On a slightly brighter note, there was a cca birthday bash for people born in march and april. We had a lucky draw, and pizza and coke =)
