Exhausted

I just had one of those exhausting weeks, and it isn't going to end just yet >.<

Firstly, there was NSC qualifying. We had our presentation round on wednesday which went fine except for a minor mistake (Zi Yang, Kewei, and Matthew presented while Hong En and I only need some minor stuff like holding up our poster). Then, there was the pen-and-paper round. It was really quite easy even though I didn't know some of the factual questions (eg. where do you find the metacarpel in the body, according to einstein what happens to an object when it approaches the speed of light). Maybe I will have to revise all that over the holidays...

Anyway, we got into the quarterfinals, together with 11 other teams. Then, we were randomly drawn into 3 groups of 4. The draw was really very crap (for want of a better word). Believe it or not, we are facing RGS, NYGH, and Commonwealth secondary school, and it is only the quarterfinals! No offence to other teams (you always have a chance as long as you work hard) but RGS and NY are really strong. The format is that 2 teams from each group qualify for the semifinals, so it seems like at least one of the top schools will be kicked out.

Thats added incentive to work hard cause I mean, we are the defending champions! Imagine if our winning streak was broken because of us.

Yesterday, we had CCA too, and it was really hard labour carrying the timpanis, bass drum, gong, and all sorts of heavy band equipment to Design Centre or LT1 for our rehearsal since we needed them. And we ended really late, or rather, we ended relatively late and then spent another 30-40 mins carrying the stuff back so by the time I reached home, it was past midnight...

Now, even though we are having this supposed holiday, I have to complete a EL blog, Geog PT, Physics PT, Math PT, Social Advocacy, HCL Project and maybe some things which I had missed out =(
