I like my school very much, especially since I changed to a new and much more pleasant class(not to say that there weren't nice and pleasant people in my previous class). I take eleven subjects: English, Double Mathematics, Chinese, Social Studies, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Geography, French, and Research Education.
My teachers:
English: Mr Adrian Chan - A nice and pleasant teacher who knows how to teach a bunch of energetic and restless youths. Knows what he is talking about too :)
Mathematics: Mrs Tan Mui Hong - Another teacher who teaches well, but the pace is so blistering that we are often hard pressed to catch up (challenging and enriching)
Chinese: Previous teacher (Mr Sunny Chong) left so we currently have a relief teacher from China, who also knows his stuff and teaches us in an interactive yet mostly focused manner (most teachers can't balance both)
Social Studies: Mrs Ong Wai Ling (also form teacher) - She is able to teach the content but sometimes the class becomes unfocused. I shall reserve my judgement.
Biology: Dr Jeffrey Lee - Another able and pleasant teacher - We learn loads during Biology and conduct interesting activities such as PCR and Gel Electrophoresis.
Chemistry: Mrs Yau Pooi Har - Initially struck us as a little funny but turned out to have much knowledge about the subject and is able to teach (partly due to self-restraint on our part - see why I say our class is wonderful? we know when to have fun and when to concentrate, most of the time at least)
Physics: Ms Huang Yuting - Mostly knows what she is talking about and can communicate to us the concepts effectively, but sometimes does not know things outside of syllabus.
Geography: Dr Chionh Yan Huay - Vast knowledge about the subject in question and is able to communicate the information we need. A little strict though (Geog homework takes top priority!)
French: Madame Evelyne Harry-Villain - A very nice and understanding teacher who teaches well, though it is sometimes difficult for us to understand her french (mainly due to our incompetency)
Research Education: Mrs Low Mei Choo - Our group mentor who looks after the administrative things and also gives us some guidance, though it is Mr Joshua Sng (Singapore Poly) who mentors us most of the time.
Thats all for now. Got to do French E-Learning work.
